Job summary

Waterman Canyon Post Acute in San Bernardino, CA is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan and lead daily recreational and social activities. You will encourage participation, provide one-on-one engagement, and help coordinate events to create a vibrant, supportive environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; strong communication and teamwork; and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. CPR/First Aid preferred or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare, skilled nursing, senior living, or activities experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to engage residents with varying needs and abilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed.
