Job summary

TheMarshes of Skidaway Island is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to engage residents in group and individual activities that address the Dimensions of Wellness: Spiritual, Physical, Emotional, Social, Environmental, and Intellectual.

Pay rate is $17-$18 per hour, based on experience. Schedule includes Mon, Wed, Fri and alternating weekend coverage with some holidays. Benefits include free meals, annual holiday bonus, scholarship program, free parking, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a long-term care facility planning and delivering programs, preferably with senior population preferred.
• Experience working with geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups, One-on-one visits and activities as scheduled.

The schedule for the position is:

• Part time: Mon, Wed, Fri and every other Saturday and Sunday, some holidays, and coverage as needed.
