Job summary

The Barclay at Boynton Beach is seeking a fun, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to help create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for our senior residents. This part-time, weekend-focused role will support the activities calendar and resident social events on campus.

Primary responsibilities include planning recreational activities, assisting with a monthly newsletter, and helping residents stay engaged.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the senior population
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
• Craft, art, exercise experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing an annual calendar of activities for residents to socialize and enjoy recreational activities daily
• Participate in events that promote family, joy and socialization
• Assist with developing a monthly newsletter that is distributed to residents and mail recipients
