Job summary

Altercare Louisville is seeking an Activities Assistant for weekend hours (9am–3:30pm) to support resident activity programming in Louisville, Ohio. The role involves one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations, while assisting the Resident Activity Director as needed.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, healthcare activities experience or equivalent, and CNA preferred with training provided.

• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
• CNA license is preferred, but we will train.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily activities to residents and assist with activities.
• Help residents participate in activities and document daily notes.
• Assist the Activity Director with miscellaneous duties.

Qualifications For Activities Assistant

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent

Responsibility of communicating to residents the daily activities, helping residents to activities, doing daily documentation and helping with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth.

Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.
