Job summary

Amoroso Woodridge Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to engage residents with energetic, compassionate, and creative activities. The role requires leading daily activities, coordinating with the Activities Director, and assisting with events.

Evening shifts and some weekday/weekend coverage are required. Qualified candidates will have strong communication, empathy, and computer skills and at least a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to use a computer and basic software (Google, Canva, email).

Responsibilities

• Lead resident activities and coordinate with the Activities Director.
• Plan, assist with events, and maintain positive relationships with residents, guests, volunteers, and vendors.
• Chart resident activities in Point of Care and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Distribute resident mail and assist with assessments.

This position offers 20 plus hours a week.

Schedule/Hours:

This position offers 20 plus hours a week. Evenings and some days. One weekend day.

Job Duties:

• Collecting distributing resident's mail
• Completing activity assessments (upon admission and quarterly)
• Leading resident activities
• Coordinating and planning activities with Activities Director
• Assisting with events
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, guests, volunteers, and vendors.
• Charting resident activities in Point of Care
• Follow HIPAA Guidelines.
