Job summary

Brightview Senior Living in Sayville is seeking a Vibrant Living Assistant for our Wellspring Village. You will help plan and run spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional activities that engage residents with dementia and cognitive needs.

You will organize games, art, music and social events, encouraging participation and sharing daily highlights with families and staff. A positive attitude and a caring approach are essential to enrich residents' lives.

At Brightview Senior Living, our Wellspring Village is home to residents with Dementia and other cognitive care needs. The Vibrant Living Assistant in the Wellspring Village will play a key role in helping our residents enjoy each and every day.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the residents of Brightview so that you can help with the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming that will make residents feel engaged and fulfilled.
• Participate in activities. Residents love games, painting, singing, and music and we need someone to help organize and run these events!
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs.
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the fun things happening each day!

Salary Range

USD $19.50 - USD $22.50 /Hr.

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
