  1. Plan, organize, and oversee the operation of the Activity Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our policies and procedures, under the guidance of the Executive Director and/or Activities Director.
  2. Ensure a continuous program of activities tailored to meet the interests and promote the physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing of each resident, based on comprehensive assessments.
  3. As a Watermark Community Life Assistant, Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering innovative, responsible healthcare through the creation and implementation of new ideas that improve systems and processes to achieve excellent results.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably 2 years of experience in planning and implementing activities.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • A degree in therapeutic recreation or a related field is a plus.

2-4 years’ experience in resident programming is preferred.
