Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an Activities Department team member to help meet the social, emotional, physical and therapeutic needs of residents. You will assist in planning, promoting and executing activities inside and outside the facility, including in-room engagements for residents unable to attend daily events.

The role emphasizes calendar creation, state-standard scheduling/documentation, and community involvement in facility activities, contributing to a supportive, engaging

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

• Assist in the activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents
• Assist in the initiation and promotion of activities both within the facility and outside the facility

• Assist in the creation of an ongoing calendar of activities
