Lion Care is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive activities program for residents. You will help create meaningful engagement opportunities that promote dignity, independence, and person-centered care aligned with facility policies.
Must have a valid CNA license; high school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience with older adults or dementia care is preferred, and you will work both independently
The Activities Assistant supports the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive activity program designed to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of residents. The Activities Assistant helps provide meaningful engagement opportunities that enhance residents’ quality of life while promoting dignity, independence, and person-centered care in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
Must have a valid CNA License as an activities assistant
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working with older adults, dementia populations, or in long-term care preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with residents with varying levels of cognitive and physical abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
