Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Apopka seeks an Activities Assistant CNA to join our caring team at 305 East Oak St, Apopka, FL. You will plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for residents, promoting safety, engagement, and quality of life.

The role emphasizes resident-centered care, collaboration with nursing and therapy staff, and adherence to Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background checks. A current Florida CNA certification and a passion for older adults are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Florida CNA certification.
• Previous experience in activities programming or a related field preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with older adults and individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Modify activities as needed to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of residents/patients, including those with physical or cognitive limitations.

Activities Assistant CNA Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents/patients, considering their individual interests and abilities.
• Provide hands‑on assistance and support to residents/patients during activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and enjoyment.

• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing activities programming in long‑term care facilities.

Activities Assistant CNA Qualifications:
