Responsibilities of Activities Assistants :

• Assist in activities with the residents.
• Play a vital role in our residents' well-being by planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation services.
• Document resident attendance and participation levels at recreation programs.
• Write progress notes.
• Attend care plan meetings as appropriate.

Qualifications for Activities Assistants :

• High school graduate or GED
• Pleasant and outgoing individual
• Must be flexible and able to multitask
• Past long-term care experience helpful
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Able to work as a team
