Job summary

The Arbor Company in West Chester, PA is looking for an Activities Assistant (Full-Time). Earn $18.00 per hour with a 35-hour work week (Tue-Sat, 9:30 AM-5:00 PM). Be part of a team that delivers engaging daily programs for residents in Memory Care or Personal Care areas.

You’ll design activities and events that promote wellness and meaningful social connections, while fostering a warm, respectful community for seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, recreation, education, event planning, or related fields.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate personality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging daily programs that promote physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being.
• Create meaningful moments for residents through games, music, fitness, crafts, celebrations, outings, and events.
• Build genuine relationships with residents and their families.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet individual interests and abilities.
• Collaborate with the community team to deliver Arbor's resident experience.
• Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and fun to work each day.

Tuesday-Saturday | 9:30 AM-5:00 PM
