Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in New York is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to enhance the residents’ experience through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively to deliver creative programming that meets the individual needs and interests of residents.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of experience in Senior Assisted Living. This part-time role offers competitive pay between $16.00 - $18.50/hour based on experience, along with generous benefits including PTO and health insurance.

We are currently seeking an energetic and caring Activities Assistant.

Activities Assistant Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Activities to deliver creative and exciting Resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community
• Under the direction of the Director of Activities, assist with orienting all residents to activity programs.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions. Must be a proven professional with compassion, integrity, and honesty.
• Has the ability to work under pressure, resolve conflict, prioritize tasks and follow through with creative ideas.
• An ability to foster teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, helping others beyond the job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors.

Activities Assistant Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years required experience in Senior Assisted Living
