Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily group and individual resident activities
Support the Director of Activities in preparing monthly calendars and maintaining activity records
Help decorate and set up activity spaces for seasonal and themed events
Encourage and engage residents to participate in programs that meet their interests and abilities
Escort residents to and from activities as needed
Assist with maintaining supplies, equipment, and materials for recreational programming
Provide companionship and social support to residents during activities and throughout the day
Support documentation of participation and resident engagement per regulatory requirements
Help ensure all programming promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents
Prior experience in recreation, senior living, or healthcare activities preferred, but not required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Creative, outgoing, and able to motivate and inspire resident participation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work well with residents, families, and staff in a warm, respectful manner
Must be able to push/pull wheelchairs and assist residents with mobility during activities
CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire
