Job summary

Dockside Health & Rehab Center in Locust Hill, VA seeks a part-time Recreation Assistant to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, educational, and cultural activities for residents, aligned with care plans.

Must be enrolled in a high school program or have a diploma. Shifts 10:00a–5:00p or 11:00a–6:00p, three shifts per week including every other weekend, wage $16.00 per hour. We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, educational/intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by your supervisor.

Education/Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Shift & Wage:

• Part-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: 10:00a - 5:00p or 11:00a - 6:00p

  • 3 Shifts per Week, Including Every Other Weekend
