Job summary

Hcshiring in Spokane, WA is seeking an Activities Assistant to provide and supervise enrichment opportunities addressing residents' physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs. You will support the care team and residents' families to help each resident reach their highest potential.

You will run group and individual activities, follow the monthly schedule, document resident participation in records, and report to the activities director.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience advocating for seniors.
• Valid drivers license and private vehicle.

Pay Rate: Hourly Pay Rate Max: 19 Pay Rate Min: 18 Status: Part Time

As activities assistant, you provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident. You assist the care team and residents' families helping residents reach their highest potential.

You will:

• Provide resident activities on a group and individual basis
• Promote and follow the monthly schedule of activities
• Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences
• Report to the activities director

You currently:

• Work independently
• Relate positively and effectively with others

• possess a valid driver's license and private vehicle
