Job summary

Canyon Springs Post-Acute Care in San Jose, CA is seeking an energetic and compassionate Bilingual Activity Assistant to join our premier skilled nursing team. You will help create meaningful experiences that keep residents active, social, and engaged through fun and creative programming.

In this role, you will work with the Activity Director to implement engaging programs supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Qualifications

• Bilingual required: Fluent in Vietnamese or Spanish.
• Passion: Genuine interest in working with seniors in a post-acute setting.
• Reliability: Strong attendance and commitment to resident safety.
• Communication: Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead group activities and one-on-one engagement sessions.
• Assist in planning and executing social, recreational, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation to enhance quality of life.
• Ensure activities align with state and federal care guidelines.
• Set up and organize materials for daily events and programs.
