Job summary

Marquis Companies, Inc. is seeking an Activities Assistant to support our Skilled Nursing Facility team, working alongside the Activities Director to plan and execute ongoing programming for residents.

You may also conduct one-on-one activities, providing individualized attention and documenting participation using an electronic medical records system. Join a compassionate team in a supportive environment where growth is encouraged and employees are valued for their contributions to residents'

Qualifications

• Experience working in Activities / Recreational Therapy in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with the elderly population and strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ongoing programming with the Activities Director.
• Conduct one-on-one activities with residents needing individualized attention.
• Document activities and participation; EMR usage.

Simply put, as the Activities Assistant you will be responsible for working side-by-side with our Activities Director to plan and execute on-going programming of Activities in our Skilled Nursing Facility. You may also conduct one-on-one activities with our residents that need more individualized attention. Documentation of activities and all participation is included in this position. This facility is currently using an electronic medical records system.
