A leading care facility in Quincy, MA, is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support residents' intellectual and emotional needs through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will assist in planning and implementing programs, fostering an environment conducive to wellness, and participate in the discharge planning process.

RegalCare at Quincy is a short and long-term care facility located in Quincy, MA. We are currently looking to hire a Activities assistant. This is part-time position, 24 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Director of Activities in enhancing and supporting the residents’ intellectual, emotional, and spiritual interests, talents, and hobbies with individual or group activities.
Assist in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility.
Assist in developing and planning the monthly program calendar.
Assist in developing a written plan of care for each resident’s activity program.
Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.
Assist in scheduling programs, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
Encourage residents to participate in activities of daily living that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally socially, and spiritually.
Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare setting is a plus. One part-time job open. Two to three days per week 10am to 5:30pm & every other weekend.
Experience working with Alzheimer’s/Dementia patients is a plus. 1 PT spot left.
