The role focuses on coordinating recreational activities, supporting monthly celebrations, and assisting with fall prevention efforts while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging recreational activities for residents, including cognitive enrichment programs and light physical fitness classes.
• Coordinate and assist with monthly celebrations, themed events, and facility parties.
• Organize special interest activities based on residents’ hobbies and preferences.
• Support and participate in fall prevention programs.
• Ensure resident safety while maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents’ needs and concerns.
• Encourage resident participation and promote a positive, inclusive environment.

Salary: $18 – $21 per hour

Position Overview

Charlotte Bay Rehab and Care Center is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create and lead engaging programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. Key Responsibilities

• Lead engaging recreational activities for residents, including cognitive enrichment programs and light physical fitness classes

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
