Pay Range: $15.94 - $24.75

The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, and contracts.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Director of Activities or Director of Social Adult Daycare in executing residents' activities or daycare programs.
2. Assist in planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting activities that meet residents' needs while stimulating their physical and mental capabilities.
3. Understand and apply principles of growth and development to assess age-specific needs and provide appropriate care.
4. Lead group activities and meet with residents on a one-to-one basis as needed.
5. Report residents' progress to the program Director.
6. Assist in working with volunteers and community resource persons.
7. Work beyond scheduled hours and on weekends if necessary.
8. Must have experience in personal care skills, body mechanics, behavior management, and be CPR certified.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in a related field or relevant work experience preferred.
• Willingness and aptitude to work with a variety of people.
• Basic understanding of the needs of the elderly and those requiring long-term care services.
• Knowledge of various activities; creativity, cooperation, and a friendly personality are essential.
