Job summary

Camino Ridge Post Acute in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Activities Assistant. We’re willing to train and join our team to support the Activities Department and enhance resident well-being through planned activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older for position.
• Preferably 1 year of activity experience in a skilled nursing or medical facility.
• Must meet general health requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and treat everyone kindly and professionally.
• Outstanding written, verbal, organizational and time management skills.
• Proven customer service or other professional maturity training or experience.
• Works collaboratively and independently, following procedures and guidelines.

Assist the Activities Supervisor/Manager in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations of the Activities Department.To assure that an ongoing program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older for position in ResCare
• Preferably 1 year of experience in an activities capacity in a skilled nursing care facility or other medical related facility preferred.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility.
• Ability to multi-task and treat everyone at work kindly and professionally
• Outstanding written, verbal, organizational and time management skills
• Proven customer service or other professional/emotional maturity training or experience
• Works collaboratively and independently, following procedures and guidelines
