Job Requirements

  • Apassion for helping seniors
  • A desire to contribute to apositive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, andall team members
  • Ability to communicate effectivelyin English; both oral and written
  • Ability to work every other weekend

JobResponsibilities Include

  • Assist with planning and providing a varietyof active and passive, group and individual activities which enhance themental, physical, spiritual, and social needs of residents through assessments,allowing them to play an active role in the community
  • Assist with maintaining and expandingVolunteer Programs
  • Assistin arranging transportation and escorts for residents to and from outside andcommunity activities

Qualifications

  • Theability to create interest in the activities and motivate residents toparticipate daily
  • Creativityand motivational skills necessary
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certificates/Licenses: A valid driver’s license in the state of work is required
