Job summary

Oxford Crossings in Langhorne, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role. You will plan and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for residents, while assisting with coloring, crafts, and other activities.

The position requires minimal supervision and reporting of medical concerns as needed. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with dementia experience preferred to support age-related resident needs.

Qualifications

• Prior recreation/activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred.
• An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• High School Diploma or GED.
