Job summary

Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation in Kent, OH is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to plan and coordinate activities for residents, including arts and crafts, exercise programs, and social gatherings.

You will develop relationships with residents, collaborate with team members, and encourage participation while maintaining records and supporting care plans. Availability on weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy or related field preferred.
• Part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with seniors and individuals with varying abilities.
• Familiarity with activity planning and coordination.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
