We are seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team! The Activities Assistant will assist in the coordination of activities within the facility, considering all residents' needs, interests, and abilities. The goal is to enrich residents' lifestyles by promoting constructive and quality leisure activities. Work closely with the Activities Director and staff to create a home-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily and monthly schedules of activities and inform residents about upcoming events.
• Promote recreation programs including music, dance, arts and crafts, cultural arts, nature study, social recreation, and exercises that stimulate both mind and body.
• Introduce new program activities, equipment, and materials to staff.
• Interpret recreation services to the public and participate in community meetings.

Qualifications:

• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
