We are hiring an Activities Assistant!

Looking for someone to work:

• Full Time - 40 hours per week
• Pay $14-16/hr

The Work - How You Will Contribute

In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Activities Assistant will give our residents a sense of purpose, worth, and meaning to help them thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.

Requires a valid driver's license; previous senior living experience is a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel and medical information
• Report problems with residents, family, caregivers, or staff to the Activities Director or charge nurse
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor
• Perform administrative duties and submit reports to the Activities Director
• Provide one-on-one attention to residents as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

About You:

You have excellent customer service skills, are flexible, compassionate, and dependable. Previous experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is a plus but not required. You also have:

• High school diploma or GED (desirable)
• Ability to operate a computer in a Windows environment
• Organized and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Basic math skills
• Ability to make routine decisions with minimal judgment
