Job summary

The Village at Marymount in Garfield Heights, OH is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our caring team. You will plan and lead recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities to engage residents and support their independence and well-being.

• Previous activities experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, senior living, or healthcare setting preferred
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Maintain activity supplies and assist with program setup and cleanup
• Document resident attendance and participation as required
• Support the Activities Director with departmental goals and programming initiatives
