Job summary

Pine Trail Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant for a part-time role in Greenacres, FL. The position runs 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday and Tuesday with rotating weekends.

The role focuses on enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging activities and social interactions. The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or has equivalent training, with strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans.

Qualifications

• CNA license preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass Level 2 background check with fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Follow the activities calendar to offer a variety of events for residents.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with event setup and cleanup.
• Follow each resident's plan of care regarding activities and ensure engagement and well-being.
• Complete room visits and 1:1 visits to promote socialization and interaction.
• Update the activity log daily to track participation and progress.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to update activities based on preferences and feedback.

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Follow the activities calendar to ensure a variety of events and activities are offered to residents

• Encourage resident participation in activities and assist with event setup and cleanup

• Complete room visits and 1:1 visits to promote socialization and interaction among residents

• Update the activity log for each resident daily to track their participation and progress

Activities Assistant Requirements:
