Job summary

CareCore at Montgomery in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to join our team and create fun, meaningful experiences for residents. You’ll lead group and individual activities, support social, intellectual, and emotional engagement, and help with events and daily routines.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a collaborative, resident-centered team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Energetic, creative, and dependable.
• Compassionate and comfortable working with seniors.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Activities, healthcare, or senior care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities
• Lead group and one-on-one activities

• Assist with special events and department needs
• Supervise designated resident smoke breaks as needed
