Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick) is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant supports planning, coordination, and implementation of recreational and social programs for residents, promoting engagement, independence, and quality of life while maintaining safety and a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead individual and group activity programs.
• Encourage resident participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.
• Assist residents with mobility and transportation to activities.
• Prepare supplies, materials, and activity spaces for programs and events.
• Deliver mail, assist with requests, and provide resident support as needed.
• Participate in outings, community events, and facility activities.
• Assist with crafts, games, and therapeutic recreation programs.
• Ensure resident safety during activities and interactions.
• Document participation and assist with required activity records.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading individual and group activity programs based on resident needs and interests
• Encourage resident participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities
• Support residents with mobility and transportation to and from activities
• Prepare supplies, materials, and activity spaces for programs and events
• Deliver mail, assist with requests, and provide resident support as needed
• Participate in outings, community events, and facility-based activities
• Assist with crafts, games, and therapeutic recreation programs
• Ensure resident safety during all activities and interactions
• Document participation and assist with required activity records
