About the Role:

As an Activities Assistant at Alliance Health at Braintree, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of recreational and social activities designed to meet the needs and interests of our residents. This may include organizing games, outings, crafts, and other activities, as well as facilitating group discussions and events. Your goal will be to create a sense of community and promote socialization among our residents, while also providing support and companionship to those who need it most.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement a range of activities, including recreational, social, and cognitive stimulation programs

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and other team members to ensure a high level of resident satisfaction and engagement

• Monitor and assess resident participation and engagement in activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure maximum participation and enjoyment

• Collaborate with other departments, such as dietary and housekeeping, to ensure seamless implementation of activities and events

• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation

• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required
