Job summary

North Care Center in Leesburg, FL is seeking a full-time Activities Aide (CNA) to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging programs for residents. You will assist with entertainment, exercise, and social activities, while documenting participation and ensuring safety and dignity.

Requirements include a Florida CNA license, a high school diploma or GED, and 6–12 months of related experience.

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, organization, and implementation of a program of activities to meet residents' social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs.
• Coordinate and verify that assistance is provided to residents for activities and events as necessary.
• Provide in room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
• Maintain all activity related records required by regulations and Medical Records – activity assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
