Job summary
Montgomery Children's Specialty Center is seeking an Activities Aide (CNA) to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging activities for residents. You will assist in assessing needs, selecting and organizing programs, and ensuring activities meet individual interests and well-being goals.
Requirements include active CNA certification in the state, experience in long-term care settings preferred, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Must hold active CNA certification in the state of practice.
- Prior experience as an Activities Aide | CNA in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
- Activities Certification preferred.
- One year of related activities/recreational services experience preferred in the last five years.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; professional image in appearance and behavior.
Responsibilities
- As Activities Aide | CNA, assist the Activities Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activities and recreational services.
- Address the individual needs and interests of residents through planned activities.
- Help coordinate and participate in resident programs to enhance engagement and well-being.

- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Must have active, and in good standing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
- Prior experience as an Activities Aide | CNA in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Activities Certification preferred
- One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
