Job summary

The Avenue at North Ridgeville, operated by Progressive Quality Care Inc., is seeking Part-time or Full-time Activities Assistants to enrich residents’ lives through engaging activities at our post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. You will support the Activities director and help run events on evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates are cheerful, outgoing, with strong Microsoft Office skills and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Previous experience in a long term care environment preferred but will consider those with other customer service experience.
• Flexibility in scheduling and working every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities director in implementing programs of individual and group activities based on resident’s needs and preferences.
• Assist and implement facility and community events.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• Implement evening and weekend activities as assigned.
• Documentation of participation through Point Click Care.

We are currently seeking creative, compassionate, and caring Part-time or Full-time Activities Assistants with the unique ability to bring joy to our residents through engaging activities.

The Avenue at North Ridgeville is a Post-Hospital Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Facility that offers a distinctive environment not commonly found in skilled nursing facilities. From our hotel-like environment to our all private suites, the Avenue is committed to providing an excellent level of physical, medical, emotional and spiritual support in an environment of comfort and respect. Our facility provides some of the area’s highest level of rehabilitation, nursing and medical support to individuals needing post-hospital care and services. We are looking for a committed individual with a reputation for being cheerful and friendly as they administer care to our residents.
