Job summary

The Avenue at North Ridgeville is seeking creative, compassionate Activities Assistants to bring joy to residents through engaging activities. Positions are available as part-time or full-time, with a focus on delivering meaningful programs in a caring environment.

Responsibilities include supporting the Activities director, implementing programs, coordinating events, and documenting participation. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, with a positive, outgoing demeanor

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Previous experience in a long term care environment preferred but will consider those with other customer service experience.
• Flexibility in scheduling and working every other weekend is required.

• Assist and implement facility and community events.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• Implement evening and weekend activities as assigned.

We are currently seeking creative, compassionate, and caring Part-time or Full-time Activities Assistants with the unique ability to bring joy to our residents through engaging activities.

The Avenue at North Ridgeville is a Post-Hospital Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Facility that offers a distinctive environment not commonly found in skilled nursing facilities. From our hotel-like environment to our all private suites, the Avenue is committed to providing an excellent level of physical, medical, emotional and spiritual support in an environment of comfort and respect. Our facility provides some of the area’s highest level of rehabilitation, nursing and medical support to individuals needing post-hospital care and services. We are looking for a committed individual with a reputation for being cheerful and friendly as they administer care to our residents.
