Job summary

Aventura at Assumption Village is seeking an Activities Aide to join our caring team. You will help organize engaging programs for residents and support daily activities within the facility.

This full-time/part-time position offers a friendly, respectful workplace with opportunities to grow with the team and benefits like health coverage and PTO. If you enjoy bringing joy to seniors and can coordinate activities with staff, apply this week.

Responsibilities

• Direct and encourage activities both within and outside the facility using community resources
• Perform all activities aide tasks in an efficient and safe manner
• Guide scheduled daily programs as planned by the activities supervisor
• Assist with record-keeping of residents' progress and activity attendance
• Assist activities director in purchasing supplies and equipment within budget
• Assist with shopping for residents

Responsibilities of Activities Aide:

• The activities aide is responsible for directing and encouraging activities both within and outside the facility utilizing the available community resources.
