Job summary

Mililani Town Association seeks an Assist Tiny Tots, Senior Program Instructors and Special Events Coordinators helper to support our morning programs and all special event days in Mililani, HI. The role requires reliability and a positive attitude toward working with children and seniors.

You will assist instructors with weekly activities, help set up and break down event spaces, and step in when instructors are unavailable. A six-month window to obtain Red Cross First Aid and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children and/or seniors preferred.
• Must possess or attain within six (6) months Red Cross Standard First Aid certification and Red Cross Community CPR.

Responsibilities

• Set up, arrange and break down tables, chairs, decorations and equipment for all programs and special events
• Assist Program Instructors with weekly program activities and off site excursions
• Facilitate Tiny Tots and Seniors Programs in the absence of the Program Instructors
• Regular and reliable attendance required
• Performs other related job duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge:

• Must have a positive attitude toward working with children
• Must have a responsible attitude for the health and safety of all program participants

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with children and/or seniors preferred

Certificates and Licenses:

• Must possess or attain within six (6) months of hire Red Cross Standard First Aid certification and Red Cross Community CPR
