Job summary

The Palace Care Center is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to develop and implement engaging programs for Residents, tailored to individual interests. You will work on units with minimal supervision, organize supplies, and assist recreation specialists while documenting participation and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Some weekend shifts are required; geriatric experience is preferred. Excellent organizational and planning skills are essential, and a positive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Experience with activities in a healthcare setting or college recreation therapy.
• Previous experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Some weekends required.

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Positive attitude and energy is a must! Professional Appearance
• Experience with activities in a healthcare setting or college work in recreation therapy
• Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
• Some weekends required
• Dementia experience preferred
