Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is hiring an Activities Aide for per-diem shifts. The role supports resident recreation, plans programs, and helps coordinate events, with a daily focus on engagement and well-being. All duties emphasize teamwork with nursing and activities staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and at least 18 years old. Prior experience in a hospital or skilled nursing Activities Department is preferred, with ongoing

• Prefer 1 year of experience in an Activities Department in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English; at least 18 years old.
• Willing to participate in continuing education and in-service training.

Join our team at Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center as an Activities Aide.

Per-Diem positions available!

Same Day Pay available!

$15.92/hr.-$22.00 (All Inclusive)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Document daily participation of residents in scheduled programs

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual well-being of our residents.

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing the recreation programs of the facility.

• Participate in community marketing events as needed

• Assist with and follow through on the establishment of resident care goals within the framework of the entire team.

• Communicate the residents' mood, behavior, or degree of involvement to the appropriate team members.

• Perform administrative requirements as needed, such as audits, forms, and reports.

• Help set up, break down, and decorate for resident and facility events.

• Assist and transport residents to and from daily scheduled activities

Experience & Education:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.

• As a minimum, one (1) year experience in an Activities Department in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility is preferred.

Specific Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

• Must have patience, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.

• Must participate in continuing education and Inservice training.
