Job summary

Big Oak Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Elmer, NJ, is seeking an Activities Aide to join our growing team. You will work directly with residents on units, implementing activities aligned to each resident's interests and helping organize program areas as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining attendance records, assisting recreation specialists, and ensuring supplies are available. A year of Long Term Care experience is preferred, with a friendly, patient-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Long Term Care experience preferred (1 year)

• Work directly with Residents on units
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested
• Assist recreation specialists & set up program areas as needed
• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities
• Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units
• Be familiar with established emergency procedures
