Abington Manor is currently looking for a Part Time Activities Aide! Every Other Weekend Required. Some Holidays Included. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.
High School diploma or GED
Must be available every other weekend
Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others
You should be observant, driven, creative, and caring
A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.
Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
Stage entertaining, engaging activities that will appeal to the age and physical or emotional condition of the resident.
