Job Title: ActiveMQ Administrator
Work Location: Remote
Duration: 2-3 week project

Job Description & Responsibilities :

• Install and configure ActiveMQ (Classic or Artemis) on servers.
• Set up broker instances, clustering, and network connectors.
• Apply patches and perform version upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Configure authentication and authorization (JAAS, LDAP, etc.).
• Set up SSL/TLS encryption for secure message transmission.
• Monitor broker health, message queues, consumers, and producers.
• Optimize message throughput and latency, memory limits, store limits, and destination policies.
• Set up failover and master-slave configurations.
• Analyze broker logs, thread dumps, stuck messages, or resource bottlenecks.
• Implement backup strategies for broker configurations and persistent messages.
• Comply with regulatory standards related to message security and retention.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
