Job summary

Watkins Distributing, LLC. is seeking Order Writing Beverage Merchandisers to travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, display, rotate products, and independently create beverage orders for accounts along their route.

Responsibilities include replenishing shelves, managing backstock, ensuring freshness, and driving between stops with company or personal vehicle. The role favors self-motivation, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with minimal on-site supervision.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Good inventory judgment and order-writing skills.
• Enjoys an active, mobile role with no regular 9–5 office hours.
• Flexible and dynamic work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide array of beverage products safely and efficiently.
• Replenish shelves, coolers, displays, and backstock areas.
• Rotate products to meet expiration dates and freshness standards.
• Independently create accurate beverage orders for assigned accounts.
• Assess inventory levels and upcoming promotions when writing orders.
• Ensure orders meet account needs and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Build and dismantle branded promotional displays and endcaps.
• Install signage and promotional point-of-sale materials.
• Safely handle hand trucks for lifting and transporting beverages.
• Drive a company or personal vehicle between stops.
• Follow directions from the sales representative and merchandising supervisor.
