Koelsch Communities is hiring an Active Living Coordinator in Arlington Heights, IL for its memory care community. This full-time role focuses on designing, planning, and providing entertainment and activities to enrich residents’ lives.

The position involves engaging residents in activities, coordinating events with the Active Living Director and caregivers, and supporting the Living Well program. A strong enthusiasm for resident engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art and music, trips, and special events.
• Partner with the Active Living Director, other Coordinators, and Caregivers for the Living Well program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Active Living Coordinator to join our Active Living Department at Waverly Inn memory care!

Earn between $17 and $19/hour, dependent on experience!

You enjoy entertaining. This role works closely with residents and families to assess interests and needs of the residents. You’ll get to participate in designing, planning, and providing entertainment, special events, and other activities which enrich the lives of residents!
