Job summary

Augment is hiring Driver Helpers to support the driver on waste and recycling routes. This role keeps neighborhoods clean, requires physical stamina, and offers weekly pay and steady full-time hours. You'll be an active team member, learning routes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with pickups, loading containers, operating lifting mechanisms when trained, and communicating issues to the driver or supervisor in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, early morning availability.
• Experience in general labor is a plus—but not required.
• Enjoys outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—this is a physically active role.
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and communicate route issues to the driver or supervisor.
