Job summary

Family Ties Home Care is seeking a compassionate caregiver in Westlake Village, CA to assist a client with advanced dementia. The role emphasizes hands-on daily support, mobility assistance, and adherence to a care plan, with communication to family and management.

Training via Care Academy, along with competitive pay and bi-weekly direct deposit, is offered. The ideal candidate holds an HCA certification or higher, has at least 1 year of caregiving experience, and can lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Current HCA or higher certification and caregiving experience.
• Ability to follow a pre-set care plan and medication schedule.
• Comfort with lifting up to 35 pounds and mobility support.
• Strong communication with client family and management.

Responsibilities

• Follow a pre-set care plan and assist with standard ADLs.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Communicate daily notes to family and management; relay concerns.
• Support mobility and transportation needs as required.
