Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly service by greeting customers with a smile
• Package customer purchases and assist in transporting them to their vehicle
• Bring in carts from the parking lot and manage cart corrals
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room and backroom; sweep and mop floors
• Stock, face and rotate merchandise; understand shelf tags and locations
• Pull product forward to maintain a full, organized appearance
• Check prices as needed and maintain front end supplies
• Help train new courtesy clerks
• Deliver products to customers and assist in other departments as needed
• Shovel, salt and sand walkways as needed
• Work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards and Hy-Vee policies
• Report to work on schedule and on time
