Job Description

The Activation/Retention Specialist is the in-field strategic face of Elavon to the client, representing the BMO business channel. They are responsible for activating merchant accounts and assisting with retention by engaging with clients and providing data analysis, industry education, presentation of performance and recommending action to improve efficiencies.

Location and travel

This is a remote role. There\'s an in-field expectation of 4 or more days per week with the remaining day(s) spent reviewing customer lists and scheduling appointments. Recommended locations include Anaheim, Covina, and Fullerton CA. The ability to drive to business owners\' locations in Southern California is essential.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate\'s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically, two or more years of client management experience in payments industry

  • Very proficient with technology
  • Ability to train others on equipment features and functionality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
  • Proven customer service/relations skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range: $71,400.00 - $84,000.00
