Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage school events during the principal’s absence, including assemblies, parent meetings, special activities, and school-wide programs.
• Monitor and support daily operations, including student safety, attendance, and behavioral management.
• Serve as the point of contact for staff, students, parents, and visitors during the principal’s absence.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the smooth execution of planned lessons, schedules, and activities.
• Ensure adherence to district policies, state and federal regulations, and school procedures.
• Address and resolve urgent issues or incidents that arise during the principal’s absence, making decisions in alignment with district expectations.
• Communicate effectively with district leadership regarding school operations and event outcomes.
• Physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
